On Friday, June 18th 2010, at 17 PM, the Summer Photographic Salon 2010 vernishing from Calarasi, was housed, this time, by Silistra’s Art Gallery. This matter was accomplished with the aid of Mr. Marian Neagu, the director of ‘Down Danube’ Museum, and Silistra’s Gallery director, the well- known Bulgarian artist, Yordan Kissiov, who managed to set up the available exhibiton area so that each work could be dignified at a high level.
The exhibition was represented by Razvan Eremia and Emanuel Tanase, with the syndic of the Calarasi’s Museum, the archaeologist Dragomira Boeva-Kanceva, and the couple Kissiov with their hospitality were downright to new propositions and collaborations in the photographic domain.Together with the Bulgarian hosts we discussed about new projects which will bring ahead, under the same headings, both Romanian and Bulgarian photographers.
Silistra’s Art Gallery represents a great location for these type of events, rooming a painting and a sculpture exhibition with a permanently character, offering professional possibilities of exposure for the new work in several well lighted halls, and also receiving concerts in a special room.We felt privileged that we could exhibit in such a remarkable location and we hope that from this out we would establish new unhackneyed and interesting projects which would symbolize the freedom of speech manifestation.
We thank to the director of “Down Danube” Museum, Marian Neagu, the couple Kissiov, the archaeologist Dragomira Boeva-Kanceva, and to the Silistra’s town hall.Due to their considerateness the work exposed on march at Calarasi could have been presented to Bulgarian audience , and the organizers are grateful for their direct involvement and for the formidable organization and evolution of this event on the Bulgarian Danube shore. We expect that this will be the first step for a efficacious collaboration for those who sincerely appreciate artistic photography.
